Summary

Maya Expense Manager has no account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no cloud server. Your business records stay on your phone.

Information stored on your device

  • Business details you enter: name, owner, GSTIN, address, phone, email, UPI ID, logo, signature, seal, terms.
  • Records you create: people (students, clients, customers) and their phone numbers and photos, services, payments, expenses, reminders, notes, team member names and PINs.

This data is not sent to us. You decide what to enter and what to export.

Permissions (used only when you use the related feature)

  • Contacts: to import a phone number you choose.
  • Notifications: for reminder alerts.
  • Photos / files: to add a photo, logo or signature, and to save or restore backups and exports.
  • Biometrics / screen lock: for app lock and PIN recovery.

Purchases

Pro purchases are handled by Google Play or Razorpay under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details. The App keeps only your plan and an order or payment reference to unlock Pro.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal data. Invoices, receipts, reminders and backups leave your phone only when you share them using WhatsApp, SMS, email or another app you choose.

Your customers’ data

The information you enter about your students, clients or customers is yours. You are responsible for handling it lawfully, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security

The App offers a login PIN, device PIN, fingerprint or face unlock, app lock and screenshot protection, and turns Android cloud backup off. No method is completely secure; keep your device locked.

Retention, deletion and your rights

Your data remains on your device until you delete it (see Data Deletion below). For the limited data we may hold (for example support emails or order references), you may request access, correction or deletion by writing to us.

Children

The App is for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children.
